Important compatibility note: this upgrade is designed to work with the Paragrafix cargo hold photo-etched set. You will need the photo-etched parts and decals from that set to complete the installation. This LED Board brings the navigation computer in the cargo hold to life using eighteen ultra-small 1.5 x 1.5 mm RGB LEDs and a set of twenty-four lighting patterns. Each mode is designed to look natural and non-repetitive, creating the feel of a busy, working navigation system deep inside the ship.
The onboard potentiometer allows manual control of animation speed, from slow system pulses to fast diagnostic cycles. The board can be connected to AUX LED2 on the Bluetooth Controller, to the Advanced LED Power Distribution Board, or to any 5 V DC power source.
To ensure clean light output with no glow around the edges, the board includes a custom light-blocking insert along with a connecting cable.
There is also a hidden easter-egg mode. Turning the potentiometer fully to one side or the other will reveal a completely unexpected lighting behavior. What exactly happens is left as a surprise for builders to discover.
